About Jason Yip's Annotated Bible (JYAB)

There are many English translations of the Holy Bible, and I have used many of them. They are great and I still consult them when studying the Bible. So, why my own annotated Bible? Well, I wanted a single Bible for my daily reading that contains the wording I like and love. Furthermore, I wanted a version that would display my personal notes adjacent to the relevant text at the click of a button. Not finding exactly what I want out there, I decided to make my own and Jason's Annotated Bible (JYAB) is the result.

The abbreviation JYAB is a deliberate pun, because I like to say that my notes should jab the mind with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17).

Creating this Bible was hard work but it has been personally rewarding. If it contributes in any way to your reading the Bible for yourself - even it is some other version - then Praise the Lord! Amen.
